Documentary set to celebrate coastal town
Life of Lowestoft is a documentary project devised by local photographer Joshua Freemantle.
With the support of other organisations, Mr Freemantle is hoping this project can help to create a positive impact on Lowestoft and encourage possible investors into the town.
Working closely with organisations including Suffolk Wildlife Trust (Carlton Marshes), CEFAS and the First Light Festival to create separate chapters of the project these will be released along with the final documentary in June 2020.
The documentary will start from the Second World War and progress to the current day, documenting what is currently happening in Lowestoft.
Local film makers and videographers are being invited to get involved to help film interviews and document stories.
You can apply to be involved in the Life of Lowestoft project by emailing with your full name, a brief description about yourself and what you do as well as some examples of your past work.
The project is supported by the Lowestoft Community Enablers, East Suffolk Communities Team, Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust (Lowestoft Scores), Lowestoft Rising, Magnus PR, Kirkley People's Forum, Heritage Open Days - Lowestoft, First Light Lowestoft, CEFAS and Suffolk Wildlife Trust (Carlton Marshes).
