‘Locally-owned’ Investment plan sent to Government for £24.9m

An ambitious ten-year investment plan, which sets out plans for a prosperous and bright future of Lowestoft, has been submitted to the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government.

The Lowestoft Place Board, which comprises of representatives from the public, private and voluntary organisations and is managed by East Suffolk Council, have developed a ‘Town Investment Plan’ that sets out the ambitious plans for the future of Lowestoft.

Our very own director Joshua Freemantle is the lead ambassador for Young People on the Lowestoft Ambassador Programme which will work to “sell” Lowestoft as a place to invest and live and will cascade the ‘Lowestoft Story’ through their networks. Members will challenge outdated perceptions of Lowestoft and misinformation about the town and articulate a more vibrant and optimistic narrative about Britain's most easterly Town.
